This classic Fiat 500 (595 Abarth Evocation) has been refurbished from top to bottom with a fully comprehensive, bare-metal, no expense spared restoration. This included body (sandblasted and coated in the original, Abarth period correct Fiat Bianco 233), and engine: a 650cc fuelled by a double-bodied Weber (from period-correct Alfa Romeos) paired with a synchro transmission. The "Record Monza" single-pipe (period correct) exhaust system sounds incredible both at low- and high-revs. An OEM "Cav Mac" aluminium rocker cover has been added to improve the oil cooling system. A yellow Abarth "Shell" oil filler cap seals the engine bay and gives it contrast vs the white body.
The 595 Evocation sits on a lowered suspensions kit and widened 'Mille Righe' period correct wheels (fitted with brand new, high quality tyres) for additional stability on road and track use. The car comes to a stop through a disc brake conversion kit. An electronic fuel pump has been fitted to improve cold and long-standing starts.
Around the car, the brand new chrome shines bright with no signs of wear or blemishes. This includes brand new chromed door handles, bullet mirrors, front Abarth badge, rear Abarth bonnet pop-open, number plate light, rear "Fiat Abarth" script logo and front headlight surrounds (thin Abarth, period-correct type).
A custom interior has been hand crafted for this Abarth using a red background with white piping and white hand stitching on the seats and door cards. The interior has also been fitted with brand new fittings including new carpets, sound insulation, new hooks and handles, new switches, new sunroof canvas, new rear view mirror, new knee bash, new sunroof structure, and dashboard.
Additional accessories fitted include a full set of H4 bright headlights, a brand new Abarth wood steering wheel with chrome spokes, and red-piped floor mats. Very discrete Pioneer quality speakers have been fitted to the rear shelf for longer drives and car shows.
There are several Fiat Abarth 595 Evocation on the market, but few are fitted with high-performance, high quality and period-correct modifications, which allow to retain its value through conserved originality, as well as having an improved handling and closer to modern cars' reliability like this example.
All taxes, duties and fees have been paid. This is a UK-registered, drive-me-away Abarth to be enjoyed in the cold and warm season.
