Classic EP140 is a high viscosity mineral based gear oil, containing anti-oxidant, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives to protect against oil oxidation, gear wear and corrosion.
It is recommended for the lubrication of conventional spiral bevel final drives, mild hypoid axles, spur and helical gears, and other applications where a high viscosity oil meeting API GL-4 is specified. The increased viscosity makes it particularly suitable for older vehicles where age-related wear has occurred.
